NOBEL PEACE PRIZE 2024: UN's ANTONIO GUTERRES, A WORLDWIDE CAMPAIGN FOR HIS LAUREATE

NO OTHER WORLD LEADER, in recent times, has so many proven global impact attributes to win a #NobelPrize as Mr. #AntonioGuterres, the Chief Adm. Officer of the #UnitedNations with active outreach and influence over 194 Nation-States. He consistently demonstrated to be (corrected/ see disclaimer at the bottom):

1) Obstinate outspoken for the well-being and harmonic consensus among and within all "stereotypes" of peoples; 2) unbending and encouraging peace-maker (while earnestly visiting, in-situ, numerous critical and endangered areas, always with reasonable and just assertiveness, which is especially urgent now in a historic era overflowing with multiple wars and endless suffering and injustice); 3) unwavering defensor of the weak and hopeless; 4) persistent in objective and actions (even when insensitively ignored or opposed);

5) diligently tireless (maintaining effort/ focus while continuously roaming around the world); 6) bravely courageous (even under powerful adverse pressures); 7) wholeheartedly impartial (regardless of the size and financial power of the party or Nation); 8) a-political (even in a politicized egotistical partisan minefield); 9) equanimous to all beings (big or small);

10) not afraid of causing anxiety with the use of factual tough words whenever necessary to awaken, mobilize and unite worldly people towards a common existential goal as with the actual #climatecrises, which most other leaders don't effectively do to his degree, due to the inadequate deep understanding of it and/ or the concern of arising widespread animosity and/or for personal interests...

...which has been attested to be counterproductive (as relatively little has been decisively done so far) putting under risk the safety of future generations as a result of the lack of immediate active and coordinated action counting with the essential support  and reinforcement of the local individuals; i.e., both top-down and bottom-up parallel engagement);

11) sincerely selfless (in a world of inflated Egos); 12) clear truth-teller (despite the consequences); 13) genuinely honest (while others are narrow-sighted or biased); 14) enduring optimistic (even under extremely negative conditions like the #climatechange);

15) a forward thinker in perpetuating reconciliation; 16) broadminded; 17) a true role model; 18) uncorrupted; 19) with strong stainless character but at the same time...

...19) humble, 20) without ever seeking fame or expecting a reward; and 21) a multipurpose creative generalist (a "polymath") coalescing concepts from different fields...

Mr #Guterres, besides his hands-on global experience (e.g., being elected the best Prime Minister of Portugal and other international positions), is well versed in a wide variety of disciplines and timely issues that have befallen onto our present-day "everything-crisis" global society in vital need of prototypes and guidance.

These include: international peace, disarmament and cooperation, climate change, #democracy, #humanrights, #inequality, #injustice, #refugee protection and economics, always giving egalitarian credit to all Nations regardless of their status or position in the world chessboard.

The obstinate boundless role of Mr. Guterres in combating our climate crises is unmatchable. This is unquestionably the greatest threat ever to the survival of our civilization, ranking it as the number 1 topmost affair in the world, even more essential in the long term than the present calamitous 2 major wars that must also be stopped.

The top-priority relevance and crucial timing for Mr. Guterres's 2024 #NobelPeacePrize nomination certainly endorses greater stand-out global support for his arduous mission in confronting the urgent climate crises.

Comparatively, his nomination is more meritorious in the present hazardous extreme weather state than when ex-US Vice-President Al Gore was awarded the 2007 Nobel Peace Prize for his efforts to disseminate information about and bring climate change to the political agenda which at that time were not so evident and devastating as now. In fact, it was not for actual peace-making as during his 2 mandates under Bill Clinton the U.S. was involved in armed conflicts at least in Africa and Eastern Europe

If not restrained/halted, the intensification of extreme climate and #weather patterns (which are already spiking out daily across the globe), will eventually create chaos and spread like wildfire around the world inducing mass migrations, clashings for water, food and settlement, riots, assassinations, boundless wars, widespread mercenary, lootings, local and overall financial crashes, hyperinflation, loss of countries' borders, nature devastation, mass extinctions, rampant pandemics (worse than Covid-19) and all sorts calamities.

Therefore, despite the unquestionable and imperative necessity of peace-making while stopping the major wars (which could lead to WWIII), #climatechaos is perpetual, reaching multiple generations extending for decades and can cause much worse havoc and deaths than the regrettable localized "temporary" wars.

Mr. Guterres coined the terms #globalboiling & #climatehell and alerted that "we are playing Russian Roulette with our Planet" to shake up and call more attention to people.

His words are not empty as he has a team of many climatologists keeping him updated of everything that goes on daily around the world. He actually is more aware of the climate change "evils" than all of us individually. In fact some scientists already call him the "climate hero".

An extremely relevant consideration for the Sweden Noble Prize judgment committee :

Mr. Guterres's #Nobel Prize acclamation shall be more outstandingly imperative than ever because it will further empower him in the global strive against our up-trending, fastly expanding, #climatecrisis

So averting/deterring Climate Change is indeed the greatest peace-making action of today, and nobody matches Mr. Guterres on this crusade... just watch his multiple videos, speeches, publications and actions about it and take into high consideration his unique capacity to reach out and influencing 194 countries through the UN's global network what no one else has.

Readers, PLEASE let's join forces and endorse Mr. Guterres's Peace Nobel Price nomination by writing to the official Nobel Prize Foundation in Sweden: https://www.nobelprize.org/contact

That justice be made on his behalf! It may help save our own lives and future generations...

Guterres knows absolutely nothing about climate change. His kind of "climate change" gloom prognostications have been going on for my entire adult life. During that timeframe, not a single one of these prognostications has come to pass. Meanwhile, in 1970 the global population was ~3.6B people. Now it's 8B people! Given Guterres prognostications and similar from many others over the last 54 years, how is this possible? It's obvious isn't it?

Good intentions and lots of time on the job does not make a good leader to affect the change needed to save our world. The United Nations and leader, Antonio Guterres, speaks on goals to solve the many problems they mention; but the direction they are pushing are counter-productive, cannot solve problems, but multiplies the problems. He and they have ignored several ideas that have been tested to lower emissions and fuel use, even though it is almost inexpensive, fair to rich and poor nations. The same declaration of an international standard that the weekly seventh day of no work would give a quick, easy, inexpensive and effective aid to fight our climate change issues , and at the same time bring greater efficiency and prosperity. Having the seventh day as no work also prospers the government, businesses, and families. It also reduces plastic pollution, reduces waste and crime. Mental health is benefited by reducing stress and having more family time together.

I am sorry I cannot agree with this post. Regardless of whether war affects climate change, that should never be the reason why one should stand up for Palestine.. They can have anti war campaign, but this page is specifically for empowering Palestine.
