New Digital Banking Team Fully Hired in Just 24 Hours for International Bank

The Client’s Problem 

We have supported this client as one of their top diversity suppliers for many years. They reached out and had a need to hire and onboard a new team very quickly. Understanding the urgency of the situation, we collaborated closely with their Client Resource Team and the Managed Service Provider (MSP) to orchestrate a hiring day that would expedite the process. 

The client reached out to hiring managers to gather dates and times that would work for everyone. Leveraging our expertise, the Collabera team provided the necessary resources and took on the responsibility of ensuring the hiring event ran smoothly and efficiently. Working in tandem with the client resource team, we implemented meticulous organizational strategies to maintain a high level of coordination throughout the process.  

Our Solution and Offerings 

To assess the candidates' suitability for the positions, we conducted both in-person interviews and leveraged video conferencing tools like WebEx to accommodate remote candidates. The hiring managers, empowered by their deep understanding of the required skillsets, were able to make on-the-spot job offers to the most promising candidates. This swift decision-making process helped to secure commitments from the candidates promptly.  

Once offers were made and accepted, the information was immediately sent to the MSP to speed up the onboarding process. By expediting the background screening and initial stages of onboarding, we minimized delays and ensured a seamless transition for the new hires. We kept staff on-site with clients to answer any questions, help facilitate some of the interview activities, and verify information. 

During the 1-day hiring event alone we had 34 people receive offers and accept!  

The newly hired team members possessed a diverse range of skillsets, including expertise in Java, Python, UI Angular, Business Analysis (BA), Scrum, and Project Management (PM). Although the client engaged three vendors for the hiring day, our organization demonstrated the most exceptional performance by generating the highest number of candidates and securing the most hires.
