MIPIM meme campaign - Win a place sailing at Cowes Week

Malcolm Hollis will be running a competition throughout MIPIM this year to find the funniest MIPIM themed meme.

Open to everyone either in Cannes or stuck back in the office, the creator of the winning meme will win a place on Malcolm Hollis’ boat for sailing at the 2017 Cowes Week festival this summer, including an overnight stay on the Isle of Wight with dinner and a "Hollis" party.

To enter, all you need to do is post an original MIPIM themed meme to LinkedIn or Twitter with the hashtag #MHmipimmeme and tag Malcolm Hollis. The top five memes with the most likes and shares will be put through to the final with the winner chosen by a judging panel of Malcolm Hollis partners.

We have come up with a few examples to get your creative juices flowing.

How to enter

Come up with a funny idea

Create a meme, we suggest using one of the following tools which allow you to choose an image or upload your own photo, but there are various other options out there too

Make yourself chuckle

Post your meme to Twitter (tagging @mhollisllp and using #MHmipimmeme) or LinkedIn (tagging @Malcolm Hollis and using #MHmipimmeme) and we will share it to our network so that you can make them chuckle too because laughing to yourself at one of your own jokes is a sign of madness.

Ask your company marketing department to share your meme from your company account in order to increase your like/share ratio

Pat yourself on the back as people like/share your meme and appreciate your hilarity

Good luck and please do bear in mind that this is a professional/business activity and we don’t want to cause undue offence to any individual or organisation, as such we will not share (and will disqualify) any entry that steps too far over the line of decency.

*Judge’s decision is final.

**Entries uploaded between 0800 on Monday 13th March 2017 and 1700 on Friday 17th March 2017 will be considered.
