Longtime Fells Point tavern to change hands

Happy Friday, readers.

We're so glad we get to bring the week's biggest stories straight to your feed each Friday. This summer and beyond, we have two new faces helping us do just that.

Give a warm welcome to BBJ's summer intern Henry Liu from Georgetown University, and our new Research Editor Ben Terzi, a onetime reporter with the Dundalk Eagle.

Henry will be contributing lots of great coverage — like this — to the newsroom, and Ben will be compiling our lists, like this week's Largest Breweries list.

With those introductions under our belts, let's get to the news.

Ale Mary's at 1939 Fleet St. will soon sell to one of the bar's loyal customers, and the current owners said they are exiting the service industry partly to relax. | More on the deal
