LoJack Assists with Recovery of Stolen Chevy Silverado in London, Ohio

On June 11, 2024, at 8:01 AM, the manager of Coughlin – London Auto contacted the London Police Department to report the theft of a customer's vehicle from the dealership property. The stolen vehicle, a 2013 Chevy Silverado Pickup Truck, was equipped with a LoJack GPS tracking unit.

A police officer from the London Police Department promptly responded to investigate the theft. With assistance from the dealership manager, who used the LoJack dealer app, the officer quickly located the stolen vehicle's current position.

The officer informed their agency that the vehicle was at the South Vienna rest stop on nearby Highway 70, approximately eight miles from the dealership. Police units were dispatched to the rest stop and recovered the unoccupied and undamaged vehicle.

Thanks to LoJack, the stolen 2013 Chevy Silverado was recovered at 8:11 AM, just ten minutes after the theft was reported to the police.
