LoJack Assists with Recovery of a Hyundai Sonata in Plano, TX

The owner of a 2017 Hyundai Sonata, valued at $10,900, reported it stolen to the Plano Police Department, who promptly entered the vehicle into the National Crime Information Center (NCIC) database.

Assigned to the case, a Plano PD Auto Theft Detective discovered that the Hyundai was equipped with LoJack. Contacting the LoJack Law Enforcement Liaison, the Detective confirmed the vehicle's LoJack installation and gained access to the LoJack for Law Enforcement app for real-time tracking. The stolen Hyundai was immediately added to the app, enabling Plano PD to initiate tracking.

Using the LoJack LE app, detectives located the stolen Hyundai parked under a covered parking stall. Plano PD's Auto Theft Unit conducted surveillance to apprehend the perpetrator(s). After completing surveillance, the Hyundai was recovered and processed for evidence before being returned to the owner.

The LoJack GPS System was pre-installed by Infinite Routes in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
