LoJack Assists with Recovery of a 2022 Chevy Camaro Stolen from a Dealership in Manchester, PA

On July 8, 2024, at 10:04 AM, the manager of Thornton Chevrolet in Pennsylvania contacted the Manchester Police Department to report the theft of three vehicles from the dealership premises. A police officer from Manchester PD promptly responded to investigate the theft and entered the vehicles as stolen in the National Crime Information Computer (NCIC).

One of the stolen vehicles, a 2022 Chevy Camaro, was equipped with a LoJack unit. The dealership manager notified the LoJack customer service center, activating the LoJack stolen vehicle recovery system.

Around 11:00 AM, approximately one hour after the theft report, a detective from the Baltimore County Police Auto Theft Task Force, utilizing LoJack LE, located the stolen Chevy Camaro parked in a yard in York, Maryland. The vehicle was recovered undamaged.
