Let's Meet Where You Are Now

My philosophy & worldview has always been to meet every individual where they are right now.

I liken it to adopting a shelter dog:

You don't know what that dog experienced before he or she met you, so when you discover a trigger, don't add to their emotional damage by passing judgment on them. Love them through it to a new reality to help them heal & emerge stronger.

That's where in my too-clever branding I use the phrase Puppy Love.

It refers to my Crazy DogCatChicken Lady animal-lover self helping fellow humans find the dreams buried inside and bringing them out in a safe space for them to be pursued and attained with encouragement, support and lots of love.

While I know my spiritual gifting involves being present to another and making someone feel seen and heard, except for my art studio work, it's always been used under somebody else's brand or organization.

  • With 40 years in active ministry, when you are employed by a church, you are there in a servant role.
  • When you are no longer serving there, you need to accept that they weren't your friends.
  • You were an employee serving a community & ethically, ties must be cut when you leave or else you are blocking the next person God puts in the role.

Wrapping my head around being my own "brand" has been fuzzy in the 7 years since I went through chemo & left full time ministry.

I often joke about being a Professional Cat Herder, but I know I am really, really good at what I do.

Other people tell me I help them find their own insights in the way I lead them through a thought process.

I've worked with 4 year olds through 104 years old and I know because people tell me that the glitter flies when I'm coaching others to step into their awesomeness!

As I move into my next phase of life taking care of my mother’s health needs, I am also opening up my art studio for online workshops.

It will be similar to the live, in-person classes I taught 10 years ago but this time online.

Do you sketch? doodle? write poetry? enjoy journaling? want to share your affirmations and prompts to help others?

I've published numerous low-content and medium-content books on Amazon KDP in the past few years.

I've also done desktop publishing for my entire adult life from early word processors to my M2 chip Mini.

Some get overwhelmed with the idea of technology or of formatting the product for publication.

I'll be walking you through so your creative projects finally get published and "out there."

Those who have already met me online will hopefully vouch for my abilities as an encourager and empowerer of others.

As I get my online studio workshop up and running, I hope when I announce the first "done with you" creative workshop to get your more artsy creative works published, it is something that you will want to be a part of.

Stay tuned!
