June, what's going on?

You know what? June has turned into an extraordinarily busy month. For everyone.

I’m not really sure why. 

Is it the winter solstice coming up for those in the southern hemisphere? Is it because it's Pride month?🏳️🌈 🏳️⚧️ Is it because we are (gasp) nearly halfway through the year? Is it because Mercury entered Gemini last week?

Whatever the reason I have made the decision to push back the start of this round of 6 Weeks to Get Started in Diversity & Inclusion, to give the opportunity for more people to attend. 

And who should attend? 

There’s such diversity in who is responsible for Diversity, Equity and Inclusion work in organisations isn’t there? (yep cute)

Some of my clients have a dedicated role, or roles. For some clients this work falls into the People & Culture teams. And for others they have committees of people passionate about this work and making a difference in their workplaces. Some have a combination of all three.

Whatever the arrangement I always feel heartened when I speak to people leading this work, no matter the structure. 

It’s why I created 6 Weeks to Get Started in Diversity & Inclusion. I realised that I had a role to play in helping the passionate people be super effective.

I help participants work out where to focus their work, how to get leaders to buy-into the work, how to create a great plan, and how to measure their progress. And along the way I create a community, so participants have ongoing help and support.
