The fuel gases – hydrogen, natural gas, and liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) – have a long history of productive and safe use throughout the world. As industrial users look to reduce their carbon footprints, the fuel gases play an important role in those efforts. Panelists from the Hydrogen Production, Hydrogen Technology, Liquefied Petroleum Gas, and Natural Gas Technology committees will discuss current initiatives and future uses of the fuel gases.

Navigating Model Code Consolidation: CGA’s Contribution to NFPA Hydrogen Codes
Model codes are requirements developed by standards organizations, such as the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA), to help enforcement officials operate safely and efficiently. Given the relevance and importance to our members, CGA takes an active role in the process to update model codes, including codes for the rapidly growing hydrogen space.
CGA & IBDEA Strengthen Relationship
In our ongoing effort to ensure that our standards reach the people and industries that need them, we have recently partnered with the International Beverage Dispensing Equipment Association (IBDEA). Through this partnership, CGA is offering greater access and incentives for IBDEA members to utilize CGA standards. We thank Lynette and the IBDEA team for prioritizing safety for their members!

CGA represents more than 165 member companies including manufacturers, distributors, suppliers, and transporters of gases, cryogenic liquids, and related products and services.
Through a committee system, CGA develops technical specifications, safety standards, and training and educational materials, and works with government agencies to formulate and promote compliance with responsible regulations and standards.
