It's hard to believe, but twenty years ago this week MMi was founded.
In late 1994 I put together the concept for what was to become MMi. The goal was pretty simple - Provide advertisers with a thorough & objective evaluation of their media buys. To be thorough required software. MMi is the only media audit firm that has patented software. To be objective means that we stay very focused on the job at hand. As such, we have never engaged in conducting an agency review, media planning or media buying. Crossing those lines blurs objectivity which is just not acceptable.
Further, we had to have media staff that understands the entire media buying supply-chain. I take great pride in the people that work with me at MMi. World-class would not be a fair tribute. Exceptional would be the correct tribute. Everyone involved is 100% dedicated to meeting our goal of providing clients with exceptional media audits and client service. They make me/MMi look great and all are solely focused on the Client.
And now a thank you to our clients. We are privileged to work on a daily basis for some of the most iconic Brands in U.S. advertising history. We do not publicize our client roster, they know who they are, and they know our commitment to them. In the agency world a client that stays at an agency 3-5 years is a rarity. We have clients that have been with us since we started 20 years ago. Many have been with us 10-15 years. There is no better testament to our work than client retention.
Again, my sincere thanks to the MMi team and all of our clients that have allowed MMi to work on their behalf. It's been a great 20 years!

Congratulations on 20 years Thomas! And while I love what I'm doing now, I loved media as passionately back then. You were a phenomenal mentor to me and taught me more about the industry when I worked for you than anyone else in my entire media career. I'm sure you're still doing the same today for your lucky staff. Best wishes on another 20 successful years!
