It’s been a month of exploration, and reflection for us at Hadean ahead of this year’s summer season and amidst the build-up to the UK election. Hosted in our Hadean Lab, this exclusive techUK webinar welcomed General Sir Richard Barrons, Air Vice Marshal (ret'd) Bruce Hedley and Co-Founder & Hadean COO Mimi Keshani, to discuss how immersive tech and synthetic environments are able to take defence forward. The panel, chaired by Rory Daniels, Chair and Programme Manager for Emerging Technologies at techUK, talked about the potential of synthetic environments in combination with AI and spatial computing to reshape how or Armed Forces plan, train and decide.

Hadean at DSET
Two of our innovation team’s finest were up at DSET 2024 in Bristol earlier this month. They joined senior UK Ministry of Defence officials and industry stakeholders at DSET as part of a Defence Analysis Modelling and Simulation (AMS) course. The event was also a great opportunity for them to interact and try out some of the cutting-edge training systems exhibited at the event and gain a broader perspective on how different innovations can be integrated and enhanced with dual-use technologies.
