February 18th – Munich HR AfterWork

Topic: Artificial Intelligence in HR

Speakers: Christian Vetter, Founder and CEO of HRForecast

In the era of digitalization and information technology, we always hear about buzzwords like Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, but the actual application in daily work is usually missing.

The application of AI in HR is always a topic of discussion for every organization. Furthermore, when thinking about AI in HR we always perceive it as if one robot will be making all decisions without considering all the human factors, which obviously would be alarming for everyone.

HRForecast found a way by using AI technologies in a way that it supports the decisions-making process rather than taking on its own decisions. Using AI, we can analyze job postings to find amazing trends in the data set. For instance, if a company wants to know about the competitor's strengths in terms of people skills, AI would help to analyze the data and give insights based on location, functions, future roles and future orientation of the competitors.

This is all possible due to the technologies which are used to get millions of job-offers publicly available on the internet or web.

A similar AI-based technology can also make the invisible visible. By analyzing employee-related data, AI can identify skillsets and expertise of employees, enabling a whole new range of services, such as job matching, individualized learning-journeys or improved project staffing.

It is believed that AI is already transforming jobs and will continue to do so. Therefore, it would be crucial for HR to be in driving seat for this journey ahead and keep it as humanly as possible.
