Entering a New Chapter: A New Era for Erik Rienecker

Erik began his career at Sunglass Hut Hut in 2003 as a part-time Sales Associate while attending college. Post-graduation, he worked in several retail roles outside of Sunglass Hut, only to return and quickly climb the ranks. His career journey included roles such as Store Manager, Regional Manager, Regional Director, and Zone Vice President.

Throughout his career, Erik has met many impactful individuals. One memorable mentee, Tazz Rockman, stands out. "My most memorable mentee was Tazz Rockman, who is now a Regional Manager. I mentored him during his time as a Store Manager and encouraged him to become a Market Manager. He's now a Regional Manager of a high-volume store and continues to excel in his career."

In addition to his management role at Sunglass Hut, Erik also had the opportunity to run the Field Leadership Development Program for three years. This experience enhanced his leadership skills and was a significant career highlight. The program connected him with numerous employees across different brands, further showcasing the value EssilorLuxottica places on cross-brand collaboration and leadership development.
