Elevating your Brand with High-Profile Partnerships

Establishing brand awareness and generating excitement is no small feat, especially in a segment as crowded as fast-casual chicken. Nevertheless, Dave's Hot Chicken has masterfully leveraged celebrity partnerships and investments, transforming our brand into a star-powered sensation.

One of the greatest advantages of celebrity endorsements is the organic, word-of-mouth marketing they facilitate. When a prominent personality shares their love for our spiced-to-order tenders and sliders, it sets off a chain reaction of curiosity. Guests want to taste what their favorite celebrities rave about, eagerly sharing their experiences online and with friends and family, spreading the Nashville-style heat even further.

Earlier this year, Kris Humphries, former NBA star and Minnesota native, made headlines when he joined forces with Dave's Hot Chicken to bring the first Dave’s location to his home state.

"I went to the University of Minnesota and love it here still. It’s just a natural fit," Humphries said. "Within five years, we plan to open 16 more locations throughout the state. We’ll start in the Twin Cities metro area, but from there, we will hit St. Cloud, Brainerd, Duluth, and the outer regions. Everyone loves chicken. There’s not a specific demographic – it brings everyone together, and we’re excited about it."

This spring, Dave’s took to the silver screen by teaming up with Paramount Pictures and Spyglass Media Group to award fans tickets to one of the year’s most anticipated horror films, Scream VI, at every Dave’s Hot Chicken location from coast to coast.

For Dave's enthusiasts and fans of global superstar Drake, our latest collaboration with the hip-hop icon was a can’t-miss opportunity. Combining the massive appeal of Dave’s and Drake, the partnership gave away hundreds of tickets to guests to attend concert stops around the country. Taking his love for the brand one step further, the artist brought back a red-hot giveaway from last year: free sliders in honor of the iconic celebrity investor’s birthday on October 24th.

Backing for Dave's Hot Chicken from other notable celebrities, including Samuel L. Jackson, Michael Strahan, and Maria Shriver, has propelled our name to new heights and solidified our status as a brand worth watching.

Just four years after launching franchise efforts, Dave’s Hot Chicken has won the hearts (and taste buds) of celebrities, investors, and guests across the globe.

You're spot-on, Shannon. Starting from scratch is HARD when it comes to brand awareness. Most of the time, it takes 1.) bold, daring ideas, and 2.) strong execution. Be BOLD, and you'll eventually gain the traction you're looking for!
