Do you have CEO time?

Are you really busy but not really getting anything done that moves your business forward?

Are you stuck in the low-level tasks without ever getting to the strategy for your business?

I would encourage you to begin blocking out some time each week for "Business Strategy" or "CEO time" where you really start to think about what you want for your business what the goals are short-term and long-term.

Without this dedicated block of time, it's too easy to get wrapped up in all these little tasks and be super busy every day and maybe not have a moment to spare but never really give any thought to where your business is going.

Remember if we don't have a destination or an endpoint for our business, we'll have no idea how to get there.

So let's set aside some time each week.

It could be a half an hour...

It could be an hour...

..depending on whether your business is new or established or growing or changing.

This time allows you to really think about what you want to do with your business which will then help drive the types of tasks that you're going to do now.

If you're starting your business you probably do have to do some of those low-level tasks like emailing or social media posting and those types of tasks.

However I don't want you to get bogged down in them. They should be a part of your schedule but not the only thing you're doing.

Remember this is a business.

You're the CEO.

You may not be at a point in your business as a CEO who can delegate many things, but you at least need to start thinking like a CEO and acting like a CEO.

Remember how you show up in your business, the energy you bring to your business will help determine your success.

So your action for today is to block out some time in your schedule for CEO time.
