As organisations and their boards mature and develop, the people, processes, and technology must progress in line with each other. Last Tuesday, NEDonBoard and OnBoard hosted a workshop designed to shine a light on the digitalisation of boards to keep pace with the needs of the boardroom. Boards have been lagging in their adoption and optimisation of technological solutions to support the way they operate, and accordingly, the potential to maximise the effectiveness of board meetings, decision making, security, information sharing and collaboration. The discussion included benefits and best practices.

High-profile Non-Executive Chair

NEDonBoard is pleased to advertise a great public appointment for a non-executive chair role. The primary focus of the Chair will be to lead the Advisory Board and to provide constructive, independent challenge and effective and appropriate support to the Advisory Board in delivering its key responsibilities. The remuneration is set at £25,000 and the expected time commitment is 1.5 days per month. The application deadline is early next week (29 November). Supporting the next generation of Entrepreneurs

The NEDonBoard mission is to accelerate sustainability and development. We do this by sharing wisdom and insights across generations of board decision-makers. It was great to see so many connections were made this week between successful entrepreneurs and our community of executive professionals with board-level experience.
