The courage to be you.

The courage to be you.

It was 18 years ago that I moved out west to start an ad agency. Little did I know what to expect as I never really managed a company, let alone as an owner. After all, I was a creative. And as most creatives know, creating great work is one thing, but managing a business, well, that’s a whole other story.

Throughout the years, I’ve experienced so many challenges and so many life lessons. I’ve seen many people walk through the doors at our agency. I’ve witnessed the incredible highs of people who bravely took on their challenges. I've witnessed brands who believed in their story and reaped the benefits of their courage. I’ve been in countless pitches, worked all nighters and weekends along-side some of the most hardworking and talented people in the industry.

Like any business, we have endured our fair share of challenges and heartbreaks. And I've made plenty of mistakes and became stronger for them. We have also celebrated our fair share of triumphs in the most epic way possible, staying true to our Brave Way #3 - All in. All the time.

The most important part is that regardless of any challenge, we’ve stayed true to who we are since our inception. We have never tried to be like any one other than ourselves. We march to our challenger beat and inspire each other to do the same. After all, our name is David&Goliath and in order to call yourself that, you have to live it.

To our amazing clients, our vendor partners and every single D&G employee who believed in the power of the little guy, thank you.

Happy anniversary, D&G.

Because of you, I can truly say, it's the best job I’ve ever had.

Congrats. Certainly takes guts what you did. It's risky. Not all have that in them. But for those that do and succeed, it's pretty special.
