Over the past eight decades, LifeSmart Youth has provided school-based, health education focused on human growth and development, disease prevention, pregnancy prevention, personal safety and bullying prevention to more than one million students. Relying on collaborative partnerships with community organizations throughout Indiana, LSY strives to be the school choice for health education programs that empowers students to make responsible decisions about their health and adopt healthy behaviors. LSY currently provides programming through local school systems in ten counties.

LSY is searching for an experienced leader to provide strategic direction and oversight for current and future educational programming in support of our mission and in collaboration with our talented staff team. This individual will oversee operations and infrastructure, direct community assessments, advocacy, curriculum and program development, and implement and evaluate processes in order to maintain excellent programs for youth. Fundraising and grant writing experience is required along with a strong financial acumen and ability to manage budgets and staff. We are looking for someone who is dedicated and inspiring, with strong communications and interpersonal skills who can oversee delivery of our health education programs and build a strong rapport with our community partners and funders. The successful candidate will pursue LSY program goals with an emphasis on diversity, equity, and inclusion. LSY has an annual budget of approximately $1 million and staff team of 9. Some in-state travel required. Competitive compensation with health insurance.

Minimum qualifications include:

• Minimum of bachelor's degree in relevant field and/or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. Master's degree preferred.

• 5+ years in a supervisory/management position with a demonstrated track record of contributing to the strategic direction and operational management.

• Successful fundraising and grant management experience. CFRE preferred.

• Ability to develop and maintain relationships with educational leaders and local community members and stakeholders to support, represent, and promote our educational programs.

• A deep sense of community service and a commitment to delivering high-quality educational curriculum.

• Strong business acumen

• Board development experience
