Breakfast Series - February 2024

Our first Breakfast Event series for 2024 will kick off at the end of this month, and we can't wait!

We've got three interactive sessions lined up, led by experienced presenters and guest speakers. These sessions are all about giving you practical tips and knowledge so you can set your plans for 2024. It's all about focusing on what matters most to you. You won't want to miss it!

Do you want to add a new location, a new service, or more staff but don't know where to start? Do you want to increase profit by 20% but are not sure which levers to pull? Do you know which customers drive 80% of your revenue?

At this event, our presenters will give you practical tips on how to set yourself up for a successful year. They will lead an interactive discussion covering the fundamentals of business planning, budgeting, financial scenario planning, and driving profit improvement to achieve your goals.

Our guest speaker, Stacey Hitchcock General Manager Investment and Deputy CE, from Venture Taranaki will touch on current macro-environmental trends that local business owners need to be aware of, along with opportunities and potential challenges that may impact our business environment in the coming year.

You will leave this event with the knowledge of how to build a business plan and budget that is aligned with what is important to you.

To achieve your goals, you must have enough time to focus on the right areas, generate surplus cash flow to invest where necessary, and be consistently profitable.

You might be wondering how this could be possible when there already are not enough hours in a day?

The expert team at Velocite has identified the key steps involved in the journey from being on the tools to getting off them. Using the Velocite Business Reshape Approach, you’ll gain clarity on how to realise your goals.

Our guest speaker Kurt Broker, Director at Brokers United, will share his experience of how he transitioned from working IN his business and the levers he has pulled to reshape his time to focus on working ON his business and making his future goals a reality.

The session will be interactive and you will leave it having gained practical tips to implement into your business, and your day-to-day activities, and a refreshed perspective on what is possible when you have the time to focus on your goals.
