Big steps with Schneider Electric!

Schneider Electric, a leading European energy production and management corporation, set out on a mission to find the future of energy efficient solutions. After reviewing the work of over 160 companies, the company chose Pavegen and eleven other firms to compete in a pitch-off event which took place in Paris last Friday, April 6th. 

As many of you will remember, we first collaborated with Schneider Electric for the 2013 Paris Marathon where we created a Pavegen walkway spanning the race course on the Place de La Concorde. This time the brief was nothing less than to “…imagine greener solutions to power the new digital company”. 

Our pitch focused on Pavegen's unique ability to place people rather than machines at the heart of sustainable city development. The team at Schneider Electric responded strongly to our mission and we can reveal that Pavegen is one of the final top 5 winners of the entire competition!

This win is already creating new opportunities and we look forward to working closely with this world leader in smart city infrastructure.
