Announcing Cloud Grey and Appium Pro

I am excited to finally unveil what I’ve been working on since leaving Sauce Labs! I am starting an Appium-focused automation consultancy called Cloud Grey, designed to get me on the other side of the Appium world, helping clients be more successful with their mobile testing. We offer all kinds of services, from giving you an Appium report card to helping with your testsuite architecture to running training sessions for your organization. If you’re using Appium at a large enterprise company, let me know: there is undoubtedly a way for Cloud Grey to help.

We’re also announcing today a community-focused project called Appium Pro.

Appium Pro is a free weekly newsletter with tips and tricks for using Appium more successfully. I also hope it will become a source of news for the Appium world, so if you see anything interesting going on, let me know and I may be able to include it in future editions of the newsletter. Happily, Sauce Labs has come on board as a founding sponsor of Appium Pro, so make sure to give them some love for that if you appreciate the newsletter.

Cloud Grey and Appium Pro will be keeping me very busy for the foreseeable future—or at least I hope so! I look forward to this continued opportunity to contribute to the Appium project, from code contribution to community leadership. It is a point of pride for me that Cloud Grey has already joined the JS Foundation, to ensure that we support Appium (and the JS ecosystem on which it relies) financially as well as with code.
