Add On for Jobs in Electric Vehicle Sector

Engineers typically enter the electric vehicle industry with a bachelor's degree or higher in engineering. However, some positions require previous experience or an advanced degree. Electric Vehicles working mechanism is different from that of internal combustion engines. As is well known, EV's use the electricity saved in the battery to cycle the motor and generate the power necessary for driving―this is the biggest difference to internal combustion vehicles, in which the engine exhausts fossil fuel to generate that power. As per the prediction that all the IC engines will be taken over by EV's doesn't mean that it won't end the mechanical requirements in EV's. As far as a vehicle Design and Engineering is concerned, the demand for mechanical and automobile engineers will be there - maybe in some lesser extent.

As I have observed while working for a dealership in EV servicing that many students in Automobile or Mechanical Engineering work with some dealers to get some experience and knowledge about vehicles operation which will help them to get weightage in their CV's . Although going through this hard times in automobile sector and meanwhile getting graduated from an average college makes it difficult to grab a better job. So all the students working in some garage or dealership level must try to take the knowledge in Electric vehicle servicing - let it be starting from the scratch - maybe as an electrician and then later on to EV technician. Currently many automotive dealership requires technician in electric vehicles such as TATA Motors, M&M, MG , Hyundai, etc., will increase your chance of getting noticed by the recruiters in EV sector.
