Today we announced the appointment of Adrian Sweeney to the position of General Manager for Zurich New Zealand. Adrian brings close to 40 years of international insurance and governance experience to the role, previously holding Chief Underwriting Officer, Chief Operating Officer and Chief Risk Officer positions at numerous insurers globally. It’s been a privilege this year to work with charities Mitey (Sir John Kirwan Foundation), Kindness Collective Foundation, Variety New Zealand and The Period Place. They all play such an important role in advocating for the vulnerable and those in need. Through our ESG forum we’ve also been able to support brokers with navigating the complex world of Environmental, Social and Governance risk for companies and directors. A big thanks to everyone who has collaborated with us this year. Together with Z Zurich Foundation, we look forward to continuing to support the Aeotearoa community in 2024 and beyond.

It’s been a delightful experience for Lily Wong and Liberty Newlands to be Santa for the day and drop off custom-made gingerbread houses to our valued Auckland brokers. The smiles on the receiving brokers’ faces have been priceless. We truly appreciate the opportunities to collaborate with you and support your clients’ insurance needs.
