Don't ask your SEO if they can increase your traffic. Traffic is the bare minimum requirement for SEO. Well, maybe do ask them, and in most cases, if they say anything but a hard yes, don't hire them. If anything an SEO should deter you from traffic goals. Hear me out... Traffic is great! It's the second milestone (after impressions) in the journey to revenue-generating SEO. But what you want is QUALIFIED traffic. And, yes, you can determine if SEO's traffic is qualified. Look at ◦ Organic revenue generally ◦ Ads converting using SEO's traffic. ◦ Email subscribers increasing and converting. ◦ Revenue from pages optimised or requested by SEO. ◦ Sessions that resulted in a sale and included a ToFu/MoFu page view. Don't hang your entire SEO success on traffic. Traffic is a GIVEN. If you're not seeing traffic increases then I dunno what's going, it's practically a by-product of other SEO objectives.

Very true Zoe, traffic being the key indicator doesn't solve the problem rather it creates another one. Most businesses just follow the FAD of SEO and fail to understand the importance of the right strategy.
