A day in the life. Part of me "starting over" is moving into a small house on an old road (one interpretation of "kodoan"). My toolbags have evolved since the 1970's. If anyone is interested in what's in them and why, let me know and I'll do a video explaining it.
Roundabouts of Life, a game of choice and consequences. See pic below and reviews of the gane.

Round Abouts of Life.
I have never encountered a game more accurately named before, it takes you on a journey of belief and trust. Belief in the choices you make wheīn faced with obstacles and decisions to make and then trust that the decisions made are in alignment with your lifes journey.
In the game, which is masterfully conceptualized and đesigned, there are many twists and turns and also many nuggets of wisdom for our benefit.
Great for family gatherings, graduation [gifts] and or parties (May 14, 2024).

How often are we pushing when we should be pulling?
I’m currently working on a tai chi movement called repulse monkey. My instructor shared that this is one of her favorite optical illusions. It looks, and initially feels, like you are pushing something away from you as you step backwards. In reality, you are setting your arm and then pulling your entire body away from that position.
One of the martial applications of this move is to grab an opponent’s arm and pull them in for a palm strike. Far more power is generated by setting the arm and pulling the opponent into the strike with the force of your entire body than if you were to land a punch.
I wonder how often this happens elsewhere in our lives? What if we:
💡 Communicate our value and skill set and consistently bring this to all of our work instead of avoiding tasks or projects we dislike?
💡 Set relationship boundaries and invite people in who respect us and support our growth instead of pushing people away who we fear will cause harm.
💡 Be intentional about the lifestyle we want to live, enjoying meals, exercise, and rest that reinforce our goals rather than creating lists of foods we shouldn’t eat or things we must do?
How much more power could we generate if we look for ways to attract the things that bring us joy and align with our purpose instead of pushing away things we fear might cause us harm?
