Senior ADAS Technician - Integrated Vehicle Systems, Toyota Motors North America

Completing my first powerlifting competition was my 31st birthday present to myself. It marked the transition from something I wanted to do, to something that I have done. It made me think about my journey with my education where, at one point, I thought I would not return to school. It was after a car accident where a driver ran a red light with enough force to spin the Jeep I was driving 180 degrees into oncoming traffic I knew it was time for me to go back. That accident was something that my then girlfriend and now fiance and I should not have walked away from, and it catapulted me into my career in vehicle safety. There have been numerous parallels between lifting and my career since then. I have met amazing people and have had incredible experiences that I thought would forever stay in the "wanted to do" category, and never make it to the "have done" category. Here's to working with all of you, getting more track time, and continuing to "PR life". *** #education #career #safety #powerlifting #automotive #community #habitualstrength Photo credit: https://lnkd.in/ebh8Afd
