It provides great insights into the future of E-commerce in APAC & what you can do to prepare for it! https://lnkd.in/gjk96vUt 📊 An interesting data point that I saw was that 57% of Gen Z say that live streaming is important for enhancing their shopping experience. 🌍 In SEA, we do see an increase in terms of brands going onto live-streaming platforms to sell. We also see social media platforms such as TikTok get into live streaming & introduce TikTok shops in it as well. This change in consumer behaviour shows that other than social content that brands put out, we should also start to think of live-streaming content. 🗣 Influencers in the live streaming space such as Twitch or YouTube Live would be of much value as they would know how to approach creating live content compared to scripted content for social media. Looking forward to seeing brands slowly going onto live-streaming platforms to promote their brands and seeing the increase in the number of live-streaming influencers to attract more brands for their income. B2B companies are doing brand trips now 😳 But first, wtf is a 'brand trip'? 'Brand Trips' is when brands pay for and organize exclusive (and sometimes luxury) trips for groups of influencers to create content promote their products. If you're on TikTok, you'll see this everywhere for CPG brands like Poppi, Whitefox, Kulani, and Revolve. But in B2B? I've never seen this before. Until I saw some of my fav B2B Influencers posting from the Semrush weekend event in London. From themed dinners, to a branded Semrush city bus, to a content creation contest with $5k cash prize. This was the first B2B Brand Trip I've seen so far. My entire thesis for Creatorbuzz is Influencer Marketing will be one of the most important Marketing channels to invest into in B2B. And we're slowly but surely seeing that trend in front of our eyes. Well done Semrush 👏 Had major FOMO 😢

When I started Authentic that people wanted genuine connections online… … and not just to be sold to … too many glossy over-produced assets would miss the point of social, and cause people to turn away.
