Earlier this month I had the great honor in accepting the Lubar 25 Honoree for 2024. I am very thankful for such a distinguished award and feel a sense of pride in leaving my mark on UW-Milwaukee. I have so many individuals to thank, all my friends and professors that aided me along the way. I am thankful to my mentors and fellow peers who encouraged me in my academic work as well as the work I do around campus. Taehun Kim, a dear friend of mine was also able to accept this award, which made the experience all the more memorable as it is one of the last things we accomplished together before his departure to UW-Madison next semester. As I reflect on this award, as well as my collegiate career; it has dawned on me that I am someone who usually keeps things of this nature to myself. But, if college or all my experiences have taught me, it's that there is always time to learn and grow. I would be lying if I didn't say writing this now I am getting misty-eyed. This accomplishment concluded my Junior standing and kickstarted my Final Year at UW-Milwaukee. Although I am eager to graduate and finally "start my life;" I have mixed feelings about finally seeing the light at the end of the tunnel. A year from now I know how hard it will be to finally close this chapter of my life and move on to bigger and better things. I love academics, I love to learn and more importantly I love interacting will all my fellow Students, Professors, TAs, Tutors, Peers, and most importantly my Friends. And one year from now all of that will be gone, most likely for the rest of my life. However, I am taking this moment to reflect on all the people I've met and the memories I've made along the way. These experiences and accomplishments will propel me forward into my final year with a positive mindset. I am truly grateful for the people in my life, and I hope to make this final year the epic conclusion I've always envisioned. University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee Lubar College of Business

My two years at UWM could not have been any better, and you were a big part of it. Thank you, and congratulations!
