Power Pose ✅ Truly enjoyed speaking at the Black Enterprise Women of Power Summit about how AI is disrupting business, sharing the stage with April Elizabeth Walker, MBA, MS SVP, Customer Success at Salesforce along with so many powerful women in tech. God showed me years ago how this sector would transform so I was excited to bring the spiritual perspective to the technology advancements that we’re seeing today. It’s so important for us to take an active role in this transformation as developers who can be an intentional force for good, as leaders who can advocate in the governmental arena, and prepare to leverage AI for positive transformation of our time, talents, and purpose. I positioned MYAVANA to scale through building our #HairAI technology over 4 years ago and excited about all the ways it will transform the hair industry and how AI will transform every way we do business from this point forward. We’re at the forefront of a new frontier in tech and it’s important for everyone to proactively plan for this next wave. I also mentioned the great work that Dr. Joy Buolamwini and Angela Benton are doing and look forward to amplifying more leaders in this space. Black women in tech remain unstoppable!! Speaking at the event was beyond exciting; it was affirming both as a firm and our value to the tech industry and as a leader in the equity space where AI is a critical conversation. I shared insights on how AI will be a strategic lever for corporations and how vital it is for organizations and their citizens to move forward with cautious yet pragmatic optimism—#sustainability.   Sharing the stage with Katharine Kennedy from #Microsoft and discussing our partnership and opportunities for further collaboration within AI with a thoughtful and equitable lens cemented the beauty of our partnerships. Key takeaways include the need for a responsible AI framework that prioritizes ethical considerations and inclusivity. The discussions also highlighted the importance of cross-sector #collaboration in driving innovation and the critical role of transparent, community-focused AI applications in ensuring long-term societal benefits.
