Futurist/Inventor (Mat. Sc., Telecomm.+ Alt. Energy) Spanish Interpreter/Teacher, Chef Instructor and Workforce Dev.
😃 This is somewhat related to a post that I put on here today, yet with a bit of a twist. I really think it is serendipity that I always seem to experience. Using TPMS or stochastic foams (literally last night) as compressible matrices, I thought to use these structures as graphe ne surface functionalized substrate. In essence, that would permit the injection of nitrogen gas into the cells to be compressed within the same vessel to form liquid nitrogen. As the liquid nitrogen boils and releases heat, the foams would initially act as a superconductor, while the graphene surface coating would progressively gain conductivity as it grows in temperature. As the internal critical temperature changes, a continual contact surface would preserve the highest possible state of conduction. My initial thought last night was to use conductive Boron doped aerodels, however, I realized that they are far too brittle to withstand the compression and thermal cycling. #inventor #3d #3dprinting #additivemanufacturing #design #creative #materials #materialsscience #nano #nanotechnology #graphene #tpms #foams #superconductivity #compression #
