Youth Employment Service (YES) South Africa’s Post

Boosting youth employability. During #YouthMonth, The Shoprite Group of Companies called unemployed South Africans to join their training programmes. With 45.5% of youth facing unemployment, the retailer's Retail Readiness Programme (RRP) and YES programme offer critical skills training to youth, unlocking opportunities within the broader retail industry. Dr Leigh Adams (PhD), Head of Talent and Learning Solutions at the Shoprite Group, said, "The jobs created through YES and RRP make a big impact on the lives of youth and their families." Since 2018, Shoprite has created over 11,000 work opportunities for youth through the YES programme. YES is proud to partner with a retail giant like Shoprite, which has the same vision and objectives. Together, we're making a real impact. More here: https://bit.ly/3L8kIdV. #SayYES.
