#post135 🌟Hard Work & Dedication: Lessons from an Inspiring Grandpa and Grandma 💪 🤔 I'm not here for promotion, but to share a story of hard work & dedication that's worth celebrating. 👵🧓 For over a decade, I've been lunching at a local place near my home(Udupi - Karnataka). There, an elderly couple runs a small hotel. Despite their age, they tirelessly lead and support their family. While we all yearn for breaks, they keep going. 💎 What's remarkable is, they never ask for charity or sympathy. All they expect is a fair payment(RS 60 <1$) for the meals they serve. Isn't this true passion? 💡 So, what can we learn from this? It's about consistency in your work, giving your best even when things go wrong. It's about something beyond money – it's about building trust and confidence. 😊 I hesitated to share this on LinkedIn, but today, as I visited their place, I was overwhelmed by their enthusiasm and bright smiles, even at their age. 🙌 Let's salute them for their unwavering dedication and the valuable lesson they teach us. 🙏 🌈 #HardWork #Dedication #Inspiration #LessonsLearned #Passion #Consistency #Trust #SmallBusiness #LocalHeroes In a world where hard work and dedication often go unnoticed, let's celebrate the unsung heroes who inspire us every day. 💪🌟 #InspiringStories

Inspiring Story for a simple girl from Madurai 🙏 Even Lord Krishna says in *Bhagavad Gita. 18.5🙏* yajña-dāna-tapaḥ-karma na tyājyaṁ kāryam eva tat yajño dānaṁ tapaś caiva pāvanāni manīṣiṇām *Translation* _Acts of sacrifice, charity and penance are not to be given up; they must be performed. Indeed, sacrifice, charity and penance purify even the great souls._ When we do any good activity we should not care for who is objecting or what will be the results. When Elephant walks dogs bark, elephant does not stop. Similarly we can spread positivity in soceity by just continuing our positive activities. There are always some who comment or object because they are envious, but the wise ignore them and continue. Vande Ma Taram. Mera Bharat Mahan.

Eid Mubarak, especially to all who are and have closed their fasting for Ramadam 2024. No doubt many will already know the following information, so I share this as a refresher: Traditionally, Eid is celebrated for three days as an official holiday in Muslim-majority countries. However, the number of holiday days varies by country. Muslims begin Eid day celebrations by partaking in a prayer service shortly after dawn, followed by a short sermon. The most popular greeting is “Eid mubarak” (Blessed Eid) or “Eid sa’id” (Happy Eid). Eid greetings also vary depending on the country and language. The day is spent visiting relatives and neighbours, accepting sweets, and extending Eid greetings as they move around from home to home. This is similar to what practising Hindus do during the celebration of Diwali. Ramandan and Eid are also special times of the year to be charitable; Zakat. Spare a thought for those people who are starving or have died in Palestine and are unable to celebrate in the traditional way of Eid-ul-Fitr.

I look different from almost every person in my industry. Nav Bhatia is one of the reasons I don't allow it to hold me back. Most of us don't realize that Nav's impact goes far beyond the Raptors. The truth is that when thousands of individuals like me who don't fit in watch him so flawlessly hold the mainstream spotlight, we are inspired to not only dream but to dream big. His story allows us to believe that we don't have to choose between our distinct identity and achieving massive career success. You have to know Nav's story to fully appreciate who he is today. He left India during the state-sponsored genocide against Sikhs in 1984. Once in Canada, he started working at Hyundai as a car salesman after struggling to find work as a mechanical engineer. Within 3 months, he had sold 127 cars - a record that stands to this day. 2 years later, he had bought out the dealership. The rest is history. When I asked him how he did it, his response was simple; “I love people and I love talking to them. That's all it is." His charity work has impacted hundreds of thousands of lives across the world. At 73, the charitable causes he cares about are driving him to take on even bigger, bolder projects which you'll hear about in the coming months. If you haven’t already, check out his new memoir: The Heart of a Superfan - his last 2 years’ labour of love. #NavBhatia #immigrantstories #commercialrealestate

In the vibrant city of Mumbai, there lived a successful entrepreneur named Rajesh. Rajesh was not just a business mogul; he was a man of great compassion. One fateful day, Rajesh was involved in a tragic accident while returning from his textile factory. Despite the heroic efforts of the medical team at a leading Hospital, his injuries proved too severe, and he passed away(brain-dead was on life support) But Rajesh had made a remarkable decision—he had registered as an organ donor. Rajesh's heart found its way to a courageous woman named Meera, who had been fighting heart disease for years. Meera's life had been a constant struggle, but when she received Rajesh's heart, it was as if she'd been given a second chance at life. Over the years, Meera thrived, celebrating her 50th birthday with gratitude in her heart. She knew that she wouldn't be here without Rajesh's selfless act of organ donation. Meera became an advocate for organ donation, sharing her story across India. Her journey inspired countless individuals, like Ramesh, Priya, and Sunita, to register as organ donors, knowing the profound impact it could have on others. Disclaimer: This is a fictional story created for the purpose of promoting organ donation awareness. Any resemblance to actual individuals or names is purely coincidental, and no sentiments are meant to be hurt. It's an illustration of the positive impact of organ donation on society. #OrganDonation #DonateLife #RajeshsLegacy #MeerasMiracle #GiftOfLife #Inspiration #IndiaOrganDonors #hopefortomorrow

TATA Rules the Heart of People - a top Global BrandThere is a blood bank inside the Tata Motors premises in Jamshedpur (there may be Blood Banks in other plants like Pimpri etc as well). This rule is also applied in Tata Steel also. If an employee donate a bottle of blood, not only he is given off for that day, but can also avail an extra leave within 7 days of donating the blood.Employees use it to extend their holidays. Needless to say, Tata loses several man-hours through this policy.Once, while having a conversation with the employees of the company, Ratan Tata was asked a question by a senior official “People take undue advantage of the policy. We lose several man-hours due to this. The blood is replenished within 24 hours, you know. Why to give that extra holiday within 7 days of donating blood."Ratan Tata smiled. He always does. And then came a calm reply."Encouragement is something I don't need to teach you. Only a few people donate because they want to. Talking about man-hours, we may be losing some man-hours doing that, but have you ever thought of the number of man-hours that get added to the person's life who receives that blood in the time of necessity?I am ready to sacrifice some of our man-hours for the better good of humanity."
