Hiring in the US is slowing, with the number of openings falling to the lowest level since February 2021. This shift highlights the need for recruiter productivity and operational efficiency—essentially, "doing more with less." Here are two approaches to achieve this, depending on your current automation tools: 1. No automation tools at present Implement automation tools to put administrative tasks on autopilot, allowing your recruiters to focus on strategic functions. Lay the groundwork by onboarding your team and establishing best practices to ensure success. Shop around for the right tools tailored to your business needs. 2. Have automation tools, but not seeing results Optimize your tools to get the best out of them. Conduct a thorough review with your team. Discard tools that are (a) unused or (b) not integrated with your tech stack. Avoid an inflated tech stack that requires switching between multiple tools for one task.
