Helping sales, enablement and marketing teams to uncover hidden revenue and have meaningful conversations
I had a truly mental week last week, and it’s a definite “pinch me” moment. Managed to book 11 meetings. Went viral on LinkedIn. Hit and exceeded target for the 2nd month in a row. Won an 8-fold accumulator with 96th & 99th minute winners. (if you know this feeling, you know…) If Carlsberg did weeks… Although I did spend Thursday and Friday predominantly on LinkedIn, I still managed to make some cold calls and send out some emails too, which highlights something I’ve spoken about so much before which is using all the tools available to you. Here’s a breakdown of how I booked 11 meetings last week and why you shouldn’t neglect some channels completely: -3 from LinkedIn -4 from Calls -4 from Emails If you asked me my favourite channel, well it’s cold calling, no messing around, quick answers and a proper conversation. But just because it’s my favourite, it doesn’t mean I’m going to neglect the other channels, some people don’t have numbers, others don’t have emails, and some just don’t use LinkedIn. That was last week, and as I now say to myself every Monday, 'And then Monday comes'. It’s a new week, with new opportunities, and new goals to hit. My goal this week? To go for gold and book the same, if not more meetings as I did last week. What's your goal this week?

Mondays are meeting-free at Speero. "No-meeting Mondays". 14-meeting Tuesday....... worth it! Monday is a time for focusing on 'what to ship'. It is where these questions are asked: - what can I do today to make my week run smooth? - what are the biggest, hardest obstacles of the week? - what needs my focus time? - what can I do today INSTEAD of discussing and getting consensus? I love to be strategic, but I mostly love to ship things. oh, and no-meeting Monday's have a magical ability to make Sunday more relaxing too.

Outbound is hard. Trying lots of things that don't work and sometimes it does work. So here's a cold email template that worked for me recently... Subject line: 2-4 word referencing your first sentence after your greeting. Greeting: Hi Alex, (sentence into what they should be looking at internally) Observation: Details about the company that put focus on factors your product is correlated with (I keep it to two highly relevant details) > observation 1 > observation 2 Current situation: Broad open ended assumption on their current situation referencing the observation - one to two sentences How you help: Short one liner on how your org can help Ask: Any interest in an early conversation to see how we can help > key here is the "early conversation" easier ask to accept If you want an example, dm me and I'll send it to you. Thanks for reading. Happy Monday!

Not sure how it got to midday? Starting your day with your inbox is one of the biggest mistakes I see busy founder-owners make... it ends up stealing your day. 🔥 Mini fires to put out 🙄 Eye rolling at silly emails 📜 Distracted by a good read My suggestion is to review your week and commitments 🗓If you are using your calendar effectively, you will see deadlines and to-dos for the week. 🗓 Add any new personal commitments or time constraints 📨 Then head to your inbox for 30 min - Boxing your email time is a great tool to not lose the day to it - Filters and rules get you to seeing the now and what needs your attention - Get help, someone who maintains and alerts you - One minute email your inbox Delete Defer, Delegate and Do THEN add and restructure your day and week and ignore you inbox until the next scheduled review - I recommend looking at your inbox twice a day. Need some starting tips? Check out this FREE simple pdf + it comes with a couple of emails to keep you on track 👉 https://lnkd.in/eTdwxSa5

The Monday hustle of a Founder! Mondays always ignite me with new targets to achieve and compare how we can perform better than last week. As I wrap up after an hour for today, here's my Monday checklist: - coffee (a must!!) - Client calls. - Addressing problems. - KPIs of the entire week. - Events planned for the week. - Hopping in between meetings. - Email check (can't keep track of numbers, say 70+). How is your Monday desk treating you today? #entrepreneurlife #mondaymindset #planning #successmindset
