Will there ever be a change in the way #JobDescriptions are posted for NURSES and NURSE PRACTITIONERS? When will the practice of posting the HR-Manual Generalized Job Description go away, and be replaced with accurate information regarding the posted position? Why can’t we get Job Postings that describe the nature of the work on that unit or in that role, shifts offered, pay ranges, required certifications, orientation/onboarding offered? #Vague #LegalJargon Wastes the applicant’s time and the Company’s time. Searching for jobs in #Nursing can be a daunting task. The interviews are very often formal, cognitive-behavioral questionnaires with #PeerInterviewers that aren’t from the Unit being applied for. When interviewing for more than 1 position in the same company, this practice is repetitive, exhausting, inefficient and in my opinion: ineffective.
