Hello Community, On the mark of about 6 months at BNY Mellon, I would like to elaborate on how I have felt personally about the organisation during this brief tenure. When I started with Investment Operations in the UK, I went upfront to my line manager (the very first day) and told him that I was completely new to this segment and it might take a while for me to understand the organisation structure, its operations and where I fall in serving the company on delivering services. Max Maudsley and @Mark Hodgson had been supportive all these months to take time to answer all my questions about the systems, procedures, risks associated and assessments. With this dynamically changing world, I believe change is evident, from business operating models to business processes. I at BNY Mellon want to support the three strategic pillars: 1. Run our Company Better, 2. Power our Culture, and 3. Be more for our Clients. By continuously working towards engaging innovation in our systems, BNY has strategically partnered with Microsoft to help make operations better in many points where resilience against risks can be managed better to overcome market disruptions not only from our learnings from the past but also with a vision towards the future. Completed 7 years (thalla fan for a reason 😉) with BNY Mellon International Operations (India) Private Ltd. It's been an incredible journey filled with challenges, growth and most importantly, the support and collaboration of an amazing team. Top 5 things that I learned during this Journey. 1) Pressure is a privilege. It only comes to those who earn it. 👑 2) Take one day at a time. Just like trekking keep the top of the mountain as a vision in front and just navigate your efforts towards it on a daily basis. 🧭 3) Don't hesitate to take up new challenges. I have been in #fintech #wealthtech most of my career. But I have never had the opportunity to work with such a talented group of women. Women who run huge weath businesses. Women who are innovating and developing cutting edge fintech platforms. Women who run massive mandates and strategies as asset and portfolio managers. Women who work hard to help clients be more productive and scale. Women who manage thousands of operational processes and team members. Hello Connections...! 🌟 Excited to share my recent accomplishment! 🚀 Just wrapped up BNY Mellon's Client Service simulation on Forage and it was an incredible learning experience. 🔍 Throughout the simulation, I had the opportunity to: *Complete a job simulation by assisting a hypothetical non-profit client in recording liabilities, understanding the intricate details of their financial obligations. *Dive into the fundamental functions of an ECRM, mastering the process of checking account history, a crucial skill in ensuring top-tier client service. Updated client activities and took on the responsibility of escalating a client request on behalf of the Service Director, understanding the importance of timely and effective solutions. *Analyzed a call transcript between the Service Director and the client, synthesizing the conversation into a comprehensive call report, highlighting key points and action items. This experience has been an invaluable journey, providing me with hands-on insights into the world of client service and reinforcing the significance of proactive, meticulous, and client-centric approaches.
