Reposting CDL Awareness news and Entry Level Driver Training problems in CDL Schools. Entry Level Driver Training (ELDT) & CDL Testing is heavily enforced under 49 CFR Part 380 & 383. Part 380, unlike Part 383 is relatively new to the Industry in understanding and applying the rule, mostly because it does not involve the Motor Carrier but more towards the "Trainers" and CDL Schools. Get familiar with Part 380 at- https://lnkd.in/gz9_NuKa During my former FMCSA Career the Proposed Rulemaking for ELDT and the Final Rulemaking was heavily Publicized to the Industry. Those ELDT Training Organizations should consider getting Subject Matter Experience professionals to help them Navigate the FMCSRs as my experience is many don't grasp the entire DOT Book the way the should train it to CDL Students. For Prospective CDL Drivers & those going for Endorsements, consider going over the FMCSA's ELDT Webpage at- https://lnkd.in/gRQVMxsS "Hundreds of students notified by the Department of Motor Vehicles that 5 Star CDL may have been improperly administering driving tests" https://lnkd.in/gMEQgBYH
