Laparoscopy-assisted radical right hemicolectomy is a minimally invasive surgical procedure used to treat ascending colon cancer. It is a form of laparoscopic surgery, or keyhole surgery, where we make small incisions in the abdomen and using specialized instruments, perform the surgery to remove the affected part of the colon. Performing this procedure as a key hole surgery offers several potential benefits over traditional open surgery, including smaller incisions, reduced postoperative pain, shorter hospital stays, and faster recovery times. However, each case is unique, and the suitability of laparoscopy-assisted surgery depends on factors such as the patient's overall health, the stage of cancer, and the surgeon's expertise. #laparoscopicrightHemicolectomy #colorectalcancersurgery #laparoscopichemicolectomy #coloncancerawareness #laparoscopicprocedure #laparoscopicsurgeon #minimallyinvasivesurgery #laparoscopiconcology #surgicaloncology #laparoscopicresection #cancersurgeryrecovery #laparoscopicsurgeon #cancersurgeon #apollohealthcity #hyderabad #letsfightcancertogether #drajeshrajsaksena #drajeshraj https://lnkd.in/g-i6p9Cu

In addition to systematic reviews of the literature, which explored the optimal content of prehabilitation for patients who undergo surgery for non-small cell lung cancer, a qualitative stakeholder analysis was performed. This qualitative stakeholder analysis explored the thoughts and preferences of patients, informal caregivers, and healthcare professionals with regard to prehabilitation. This recently published study is an important addition to make prehabilitation feasible. https://lnkd.in/egfbpmN8

Cytoreductive surgery is key in treating advanced ovarian cancer, and specialized cancer centers are making a significant impact in improving patient outcomes. Major bowel resection may be necessary, but complete cytoreduction not only extends survival, but also enhances quality of life. If you or a loved one is facing ovarian cancer, consider seeking care at a specialized center for the best possible treatment options and the highest chance of survival. #ovariancancer #specializedcancercenters #cytoreductivesurgery https://lnkd.in/gDTMmbqZ

The journey to health and healing is a marathon, not a sprint. Even if a woman has had treatment for breast cancer, including surgery, there’s a chance that the illness could return. For some, that chance is higher than others. Lilly is researching how one therapy can potentially help women at risk for recurrence. Let’s support women in their fight against recurrence. Learn about qualifications for Lilly clinical trials at https://e.lilly/49tmgtH.
