Young technicians today have a different relationship with work than techs of the past. Here's a look at how they relate to work and how you can make it work for your shop.

One day, designing for sustainment will no longer be a pipe dream. One day, we will look at the end user, look at the organic maintenance construct of that end user, design sub assemblies and systems of systems models with sustainability/maintainability in mind. One day, 18 year old with little real life experience will not have to make 3,4,5,8 hour R&R actions. One day, we will be able to look back and wonder how it took so long to lead the way on driving sustainment priority to keep capabilities operational. We are inching closer to that day. When that day comes, that will be a tactical and technical discriminator which will save lives.
