Rhode Island PBS is proud to announce that we have been nominated for 19 Boston/New England Emmy Awards! 🏆 Our team works hard every day to create and produce extraordinary local content that highlights news, politics, art, entertainment, education, and more! The National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences (NATAS) Boston/New England Chapter will announce the official winners on Saturday, June 8, 2024, at the 47th Annual Boston/New England Emmy® Awards Ceremony in Boston. Notably, this year’s number of nominations for Rhode Island PBS has surpassed last year’s count of 12. Last night Rhode Island PBS had the honor of attending the Oscar Night Red Carpet Experience in Providence. This glamorous evening highlighted the talented film and television work throughout Rhode Island, plus, featured a grand screening of the Oscars! A special shout out to our wonderful Rhode Island PBS' doubleFEATURE stars who hosted the event, Steve Feinberg from The Rhode Island Film and Television Office and Shawn Quirk from Flickers' Rhode Island International Film Festival. What a fantastic night! We were so happy to show Rhode Island PBS' support for the film/television community and enjoy such a fantastic evening with you all!
