How will you address the trauma The children are experiencing

It has all been conflict. There needs to be better measures for providing security to individuals working in the medical field and support for healthcare workers that work in high risk environments

The worst and number one global health issue is cardiovascular diseases (CVDs) due to their significant impact on global mortality and morbidity rates. CVDs are the leading cause of death worldwide, responsible for approximately 17.9 million deaths annually, which accounts for about 32% of all global deaths. They encompass a range of conditions including coronary heart disease, strokes, and peripheral arterial disease, affecting individuals across both developed and developing countries. The widespread prevalence and high mortality rates, combined with the substantial economic burden on health systems and the influence of various risk factors such as unhealthy diets, physical inactivity, tobacco use, and harmful alcohol consumption, underscore the critical and pervasive nature of CVDs as a global health challenge.

Viral hepatitis, particularly hepatitis B and C, presents a daunting health challenge for those of us in Sub-Saharan Africa with Nigeria having a disproportionately high burden. Not less than 90 million people in Africa are living with chronic hepatitis B and it is clearly estimated that at least 20 million Nigerians equivalent to 10% of the Country's population are living with hepatitis virus. The burden of Viral Hepatitis is higher than 9% in most SSA countries and the chronic nature of these infections results in severe liver diseases, including cirrhosis and liver cancer, which have high fatality rates if untreated as is the case in many households in Nigeria who have to depend on out-of-pocket payments to access healthcare services. The untimely death of my brother is a sad example of this. I would suggest that the World Health Organization focus attention on SSA, particularly in countries with extremely high burdens of Viral Hepatitis like Nigeria, Benin, Cameroun, Mauritania and Cote d'Ivoire. Working with Patient Organizations within these countries can tremendously help to design and implement adaptable and sustainable interventions to reduce the burden of Viral Hepatitis.

We need a global perspective in the same way we need national policies and local public health strategies. Global politics are complex and extremely unstable, so we need to learn more about how to adapt, grow, learn and share as human beings. Disease, climate, famine..... vs equality etc. #greatergood And we need much more money towards prevention, which means working openly and transparently with industry partners including pharma and medtech. Health improvement and health protection are paramount, but primary and secondary health providers - generally speaking - simply aren't incentivised (enough) to practice public health in diagnosis and healthcare for example. Innovation and collaboration are key 🔑 👌

To upgrade the health in world, the world organizations should focus in how we can live healthy, is very hard to live healthy, if we can not think healthy. So, the problem has a solution.

Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala said: قَا لَ رَبِّ السِّجْنُ اَحَبُّ اِلَيَّ مِمَّا يَدْعُوْنَنِيْۤ اِلَيْهِ ۚ وَاِ لَّا تَصْرِفْ عَنِّيْ كَيْدَهُنَّ اَصْبُ اِلَيْهِنَّ وَاَ كُنْ مِّنَ الْجٰهِلِيْنَ "He said, "My Lord, prison is more to my liking than that to which they invite me. And if You do not avert from me their plan, I might incline toward them and [thus] be of the ignorant."" (QS. Yusuf 12: Verse 33) * Via Qur'an English https://quranformobile.com/get/en
