Remember the days of battleship grey offices and dimly lit cubicles. Thank goodness those days are gone. The integration of biophilic design in office environments is proving to be a transformative trend with significant benefits for employee well-being, productivity, and overall business performance. A recent study highlighted by Workplace Insight demonstrates that incorporating natural elements such as greenery, natural light, and water features and interior finishes that mimic these natural elements into office spaces not only enhances aesthetic appeal but also tangibly improves air quality, reduces stress, and boosts cognitive function and creativity among employees. These improvements can lead to a reduction in absenteeism and an increase in productivity, and employee retention ...ultimately benefiting the company's bottom line. For those of you who are procurement leaders, workplace strategists, design professionals... investing in biophilic design is becoming a clear business case supported by growing empirical evidence and economic rationale ... plus it just looks great. #mohawkgroup https://lnkd.in/gMngCX9a
