📣Curiosity moves you forward 📣 Pictured here is a sign that greeted me every day as I walked through the SharkNinja office during my product development co-op. This phrase resonated deeply with me. As I navigated my busy days running countless validation studies and coordinating with stakeholders, these words reminded me of the ultimate goal: to stay curious and continuously expand my knowledge. I've always been a self-motivated learner, often picking up new hobbies or skills just for the joy of it. However, SharkNinja provided me with unique opportunities to deepen my learning in new and exciting ways. In my free time, I loved exploring different product categories outside of my own, which was beauty, and learning from experts in those fields. This experience reaffirmed my belief that learning should be enjoyable and that we should always strive to learn new things, both within our professional interests and beyond. This summer, I plan to continue expanding my knowledge by: 1. Taking Brand Management and Management Information Systems at Northeastern University.  These two courses will empower me with the knowledge of how successful brands are built and maintained, as well as how corporations leverage the power of information technology to advance their business initiatives. 2. Staying up to date on current technology and brand news via LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram, and beyond. There is so much valuable information pumped out onto social media daily, and I plan on keeping my eyes peeled! 3. Updating my portfolio with projects and case studies. Learning comes from doing, but it also comes from reflecting on what others have done or what you’ve done yourself. Hence, I want to take the time to properly update my portfolio with case studies on my own projects as well as projects from other brands that fascinate me. For early professionals and anyone seeking growth, maintaining a sense of curiosity and a passion for learning is crucial. Let’s embrace the journey of continuous learning and let our curiosity drive us forward! I had a blast working with my Carbon team throughout the semester. Carbon is an app that empowers people to invest by making portfolio management easy- with just a click, copy trusted trades from portfolios and learn from seasoned investors and newbies alike. I’m super proud of what we were able to accomoplish in meetings where all we seemed to do was laugh, and I’m sad that so many of my team members will be leaving to graduate or work with other teams within Generate Product Development in the future. Nonetheless, I’ll be uploading this project to my portfolio soon so be on the lookout! Thank you to my entire team for the laughs, support, and CO2

Taking inspiration from Lisa Jiang's tagline here but… From starting with nothing but a pure and genuine interest in design and UX, to knowing just a bit more than nothing, I'm overwhelmed with gratitude for the remarkable journey I've shared with my HackBeanpot, Inc team. As I reflect on my role as a designer for the 2024 hackathon and share fun photos of the team, I am filled with immense fulfillment. And now, with great excitement, I am excited to announce that I'll be stepping into the role of Design Lead for our next Hackathon!! Serving as a UI/UX engineer has been an amazing journey. Together, we’ve poured our hearts into every aspect of the event, from the smallest details of our brand collateral to the intricate workings of our website. Each challenge we faced not only brought us closer together but also served as an opportunity for us to learn and grow. I want to thank the entire HackBeanpot team for their unwavering leadership, support, and for the countless moments of laughter we've shared over the past year. But my biggest shoutout would have to go to my design team, led by the incredible Amanda Lee. But to everyone from the HBP family, your guidance and collaboration have been instrumental in shaping my personal and professional journey, and I couldn't be more thankful. With a mix of emotions, I'm sharing a significant announcement today. After a fulfilling journey as the CMO of Hackrah Media, I've decided to step down from this role. Joining Hackrah during the second semester of my Freshman year was a pivotal moment, as it provided me with a platform to apply my marketing skills beyond my high school club experiences. Working alongside Shirley Wang and contributing to Hackrah's mission of supporting businesses and communities aligned with causes such as social justice and equity has been a truly transformative experience. Having gotten rejected from every single club I applied for first semester (why do clubs expect literal high schoolers to have an entire page of professional experience just to join???), Shirley believing in my capabilities and trusting me to lead and build the company with her, was extremely fundamental to my development as a leader. During my tenure as CMO, we achieved substantial growth—onboarding 3 new clients, expanding our team from 4 to 10+, and becoming integral to Northeastern's entrepreneurship ecosystem. Initiatives like our summer internship program and impactful marketing campaigns further solidified our presence. Hackrah has been profound to my growth, allowing me to lead a diverse team and drive real impact for our clients. However, through this experience, I’ve realized my passion lies in client-facing creative and strategic roles, leading me to explore new avenues within the organization. While my role as CMO concludes, my commitment to Hackrah's mission remains unwavering and I'll continue to be involved in our impactful work, albeit in a different capacity. As we welcome new project management interns for the Spring Semester, I encourage passionate Gen-Z individuals to please consider joining our dynamic team! As the Spring semester approaches, I'm thrilled to reflect on my enriching journey within Scout and express my gratitude to the remarkable individuals who have shaped my experience. This past Fall, I had the privilege of being part of Playground, a dynamic design initiative specializing in diverse projects with a focused timeframe (8-10 weeks). My role involved spearheading the development of branding and User Interface for a student-led startup,Bibite, LLC, in collaboration with an exceptionally talented and spirited team. I'm excited to share that in the upcoming semester, I'll be taking on the role of Design Lead at Playground. While I've always valued the guidance of experienced designers, serving as Design Lead presents a unique opportunity for me to truly own my design projects and cultivate deeper skills in project and product management, as well as a mastery of design thinking. I would like to express my gratitude to Naomi Desai for entrusting me with this incredible opportunity and for spearheading the successful Playground initiative. I am very excited to announce that I will be joining SharkNinja as a Product Development Co-op next semester. I am incredibly thankful for this opportunity and would like to extend my heartfelt gratitude to my friends, family, and mentors whose continual wisdom and support have guided me to my most invaluable endeavor yet. The Product Development role represents the perfect convergence of my passions for contributing to the creation of innovative products and fostering user-centric design. I'm eager to serve as a product expert and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to bring ideas to life, especially at SharkNinja. I can't wait to kick off this exciting journey in January.
