Today is giving Tuesday, "a day that encourages people to do good" - consider donating to a charity in your own community. 5 tips when donating: 1. Make a list of the issues you care about - think about challenges you'd like to help overcome 2. Use your household budget to decide how much to give 3. Donate to a mix of charities - you may want to give to both a small, local organization and a large, national or international organization 4. Beware of charity scammers- make sure your money is going to the people who you're trying to help 5. Money is not the only way to support charity - Volunteering is a great way to give back
Your donation will provide scholarships to Detroit area high school students from disadvantaged backgrounds to excite them to pursue higher education in science, technology, engineering, and math. Learn more at https://lnkd.in/gbk-uKUd. Make a gift at https://michmed.org/GydkY.

MAKE AN IMPACT WITH YOUR GIVING TUESDAY DONATION Less than 5% of students from lower-income families who can complete college actually graduate. However, with small grants and the support of mentors, these numbers can dramatically improve. In 2023, Boosting Hope provided scholarships and mentorship to 10 recipients. The return on investment of their scholarships is an incredible 50 times, with amazing stories of transformation and achievement. In 2024, we plan to increase the impact by awarding 15 scholarships. With a focus on transfer students from community colleges and enhancing mentorship programs, we aim for a 100% graduation goal. As a registered 501c3 entity, Boosting Hope Inc. can receive tax-deductible donations that go 100% to support deserving individuals in their journey toward a college education. Teach The World Foundation is doing excellent work in the education sector for bringing out of school children into the education system.Incorporating gaming into education, especially through tablets, presents a dynamic approach to engaging students and potentially bringing out-of-school children into the education system. Games are inherently engaging and can capture children’s interest more effectively than traditional methods. Interactive elements, challenges, and rewards in educational games can motivate children to participate actively in learning.Games can be designed to enhance critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Subjects like math, language, and science can be taught through immersive gameplay, reinforcing learning objectives in a practical context.Tablets are portable and can be distributed widely, making education accessible even in remote or underserved areas. The scalability of digital platforms allows for the rapid deployment of educational resources to a large number of students.By harnessing the engagement of gaming, personalized learning opportunities, and the accessibility of digital platforms, Sindh Pakistan can foster a generation of educated, empowered youth who will undoubtedly shape the future of their nation.
Graduates are more than just students; they are future leaders and innovators. As we honor graduation ceremonies globally, it's crucial to remember the children who may never get this opportunity. Your donations can help bridge this gap by offering quality education to marginalized kids, paving the way for them to achieve their dreams and become tomorrow's graduates. Together, we can make education accessible for all. #digitalliteracy #digitaleducation #functionalliteracy #outofschoolchildren #EmpowerThroughEducation
