Waller County continues to be a hotspot for residential and commercial developers. The yet to be named project will be Johnson Development's second development in the area, following Jubilee, a 4,300-home community south of Highway 290 and near Grand Parkway. More than 43,000 homes are under construction or planned in the 290 Corridor/Waller submarket, including the residential community developed by Long Lake in Beacon Hill, Wolff Companies' master-planned environment. https://lnkd.in/dBG5r4E2

One & Two Westway, a 193,854-square-foot office campus in the Wolff Companies' legacy office project - Westway Park in West Houston was recently sold to an undisclosed buyer. Testament to the quality of development in our master-planned environments and the demand for quality office space in West Houston, the two buildings were 95 percent leased at the time of sale to four tenants in the healthcare, education, energy and homebuilding sectors.  https://lnkd.in/dqvRpdXC

With major residential and commercial developments underway, the US 290 Corridor continues to strengthen its status as the next major growth corridor in Houston. According to Elliott Hirshfeld with Newmark, Houston's office leasing activity over the past several quarters has been mainly driven by energy, engineering, and chemical companies, as well as financial institutions. Most of these are occurring in West Houston, specifically the Energy Corridor, in buildings along Interstate 10 that are amenity-rich and close to all types of the employee continuum. https://lnkd.in/dBW-h2Vm

The move is part of a larger trend of companies searching for newer and more modern buildings in the Energy Corridor, Memorial City, and CityCentre.
