I thought this article by The Bridgespan Group was spot on regarding sourcing (finding) and diligence (vetting) as it relates to nonprofits. The DMC is partnered with the Florida Policy Project (FPP) to research and investigate the housing affordability crisis in Florida. The FPP is a non-profit, non-partisan research institute that researches and collects data to advance policies that improve the lives of Floridians. The team created in this partnership — led by Shane Dabney and consisting of Elizabeth Miller, Eliza Terziev, and Gabriel Valvassori — compares affordable housing strategies employed throughout the country and evaluates their applicability to Florida, proposing the relevant solutions to Florida’s crisis.
