🌟 Happy Father's Day from Intelligent Change! 🌟 Today, we celebrate the incredible dads who inspire, guide, and support us every day. Whether it's through their wisdom, strength, or unwavering love, fathers & father figures play a vital role in shaping our lives and helping us become the best versions of ourselves. At Intelligent Change, we believe in the power of small, positive habits to create lasting impact. This Father's Day, let's honor the fathers and father figures in our lives by practicing gratitude and showing appreciation for their endless contributions. Here are three ways you can celebrate and show gratitude today: 1. Write a Heartfelt Note: Express your appreciation through a sincere, handwritten note or message. Let them know how much they mean to you. 2. Spend Quality Time: Whether it's a simple walk in the park or a shared meal, spending quality time together is one of the best gifts you can give. 3. Share a Memory: Reminisce about your favorite moments together and create new memories to cherish. To all the amazing fathers out there, thank you for your love, guidance, and inspiration. You make the world a better place every day. Happy Father's Day! 💙 #FathersDay #Gratitude #CelebrateDads #IntelligentChange

Imperfect action, or perfectionism? Is… Just stupid? or a smart business move? Isn’t taking imperfect action the theme for this year? Or every year, it seems. For a brand & and graphic designer, it's the theme every year, no? But, “Culture eats strategy for breakfast.” Every time! The eternal design culture struggle between great, and great enough is very real when working with design and branding. We tend to perfect a design until it’s ready to sit in a museum. It can be difficult to know when to declare something as done, vs perfecting it. It goes against designers’ very nature. We want our creation to be perfectly symmetrical Perfectly balanced In short, Perfect! This is not strategic: It’s culture. It’s also perfectionism in its purest form. 🗝️ A key realization I’ve had this last year is that often the perfect time will never come. Smart thinking? Maybe. Love this picture below from #AlexHormozi. Here’s my version: “Write the post. Post the post. Run the ad. Take the risk. Just start. Make the connection. Send the reach-out. When you’re 85 years old, and on your deathbed, you’re not gonna wish you had fewer crazy stories. Be ONE of ZERO.” Knowing when to ship, and when to keep perfecting IS the strategy. Here’s my attempt at adding to my design studio checklist, among other items, for when a piece is complete: ✅ Have you pushed yourself to make it the best you possibly can? ✅ Is the design as unique as possible from any other design like this that you’ve seen or created or the inspiration you used? ✅ Is it designed to the specs of the brief? ✅ Does it achieve the goals you’ve set with the client? ✅ Ship. We have no business designing the same way we did last year. It’s a New Year. Let’s get after it! Hope this helps somebody today! P.S. If you have any more good ones to add to this design checklist, I would love to hear yours! #branddesign #designerslife
