Not many people share the concept of sustainability when it comes to scaling. For some reason, I believe I'd be taken more seriously if I said I led a team of 100 rather than 10. There's a common misconception that fast scaling is the ultimate success metric. We often forget to mention how scaling your product too quickly can backfire. I learned this the hard way back in 2019 when I started my creative agency. With just 5 clients, I thought I could do much more if I had more hands on deck. I hired 2 people, thinking they could manage accounts, but they ended up flopping. Clients were calling me to complain, and it was a mess. It wasn't just the team I hired; there could be other reasons, like slowly losing your vision for why you started. One of my favorites on YouTube recently shared the same problem. He stopped being as creative as he'd have liked because he scaled too quickly and was now burnt out. So, carefully consider what growth could look like for you. It doesn't have to be what everybody considers growth these days; just ensure your customers are happy, you're serving them with all you've got, focusing more on quality, and gradually improving based on their feedback. 🚀 Exciting News Alert! 🌟 Today, I'm back in the real-estate space, starting something new. Back in 2021, I joined Strike to shake up the industry, and you know what? We kind of did. In the end, Strike acquired Purplebricks, which was a really big and exciting thing, but I decided to move on - it wasn't a journey I wanted to go on. But, that taste left me wanting more. I wanted to solve even more customer challenges and move the property industry away from the status quo. What happens now? I start working on designing something new and exciting, which hopefully helps solve some of the major challenges facing buyers and sellers in the real estate sector.

2wAs a kid, I went through MAJOR phases of intense interest...a few favorites included paleontologist, oceanographer, water slide designer (!!), and sports broadcaster. I really struggled with high school physics concepts, so the world should be glad I didn't go the water slide route 😂
