I had to fire multiple people this past week. Here are 3 things to look out for that could help prevent this. The worst part about business is firing people you like. 1. Make sure everyone is aligned on 3 core values, which keep everyone, including yourself, in line. Ours are Competitive Greatness, Adaptability, and Conscientiousness. 2. Employees should prioritize effective internal communication with the team and external communication over anything else. 3. Everyone coming on board should want to grow in their position and industry for at least 3-5 years.
